Sermon Overview
Paul continues his exhortation to the Thessalonian believers to walk in a manner that pleases God. We have seen that this is manifested in sexual purity. However, one can’t live a holy life without growing in their love for others. So although the Thessalonian believers were already abounding in love for one another, Paul urges them to excel still more. In today’s lesson, we will look at the first of three motivators for the believer to strive for love.
