Sermon Overview
As Jesus’s mission to bring the gospel to all the towns and villages of Galilee became increasingly difficult (due to enthusiasm from the crowds) and increasingly urgent (due to hostility from religious leaders), He needed a new strategy to solve this growing challenge. This week, we will see three characteristics of Jesus’s strategy for gospel ministry.
- The Extent of Jesus’s Growing Fame (3:7-8)
- The Problem with Jesus’s Growing Fame (3:9-12)
- The Solution to Jesus’s Growing Fame (3:13-19)
- His Sovereign Choice (3:13-14a)
- His Christ-Centered Mission (3:14b-15)
- His Gracious Selection (3:16-19)
