Sermon Overview
Today, we are continuing the story of Jairus’s request for Jesus to heal His daughter. After making an anxious request, Jairus had to endure an agonizing delay, only to hear that his daughter had died before Jesus was able to heal her. Jairus’s faith is being tested. Will he give up in despair, or will he continue trusting Jesus? Things didn’t happen according to Jairus’s timetable, but Jesus’s timing was perfect. In this lesson we finally get to see the last unexpected phase of Jesus’s compassionate deliverance.
