Sermon Overview
Despite how well the Thessalonians believers were standing firm in their faith, Paul understood the dangers of living in a corrupt world and urged them to strive still more. To compel this pleasing walk, Paul clarifies God’s moral will for believers: sanctification in the area of sexual purity. In this lesson, we will see three components to sexual purity and understanding the will of God.
- The Positive of Sanctification (4:4)
- The Negative of Sanctification (4:5)
- The Striving of Sanctification (4:6-8)
