Why God Became Man

Sermon Overview

Ever since the fall, mankind has been enslaved to sin and bound for death. However, there is still hope for mankind. In today’s sermon, we contemplate three reasons God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ.

1. To relieve us from the fear of death (2:14-16)
2. To rescue us from the wrath of God (2:17)
3. To release us from the power of temptation (2:18)
