Gracelife Foundations
This summer Pastor Cooper will start our Gracelife Foundations class teaching a summer home group series on “The Fear of the Lord: The Foundation of True Worship and Life.” The fear of the Lord is the foundation the Bible names for every right response to life – for wisdom, for worship, for obedience, for holiness, for endurance, for joy. Scripture does not treat it as one virtue among many but as the posture under which every other virtue rightly forms. Where the fear of the Lord is absent, obedience becomes performance, worship becomes preference, and the Christian life becomes a curated version of personal desires. Where it is present, the whole house of the Christian life finds its foundation.
This series works through the fear of the Lord from its definition to its doxology. From the beginning of wisdom to the worship that pleases a consuming God, with the whole middle of the series doing the work of exposing, rebuilding, and cultivating the fear God has promised to plant in His people.
This is a church-wide class and we hope you will make plans to join us. Refer to our events page for information on the time and location for each class.
